Polecat Tavern’s 2 Year Anniversary and Keith Alan Barnett’s Birthday

Carson City, NV, Dec 13, 2025 – Polecat Tavern – A Place for Live Music will celebrate two years in business on Saturday, December 13th beginning at 7pm. It is also our fearless leader Keith Alan Barnett’s Birthday so everyone is invited to come and celebrate with us. The entertainment is the fabulous Brother Dan Palmer. Bro Dan was one of the very first musicians to play on the Polecat Tavern stage and is one of our favorite people. Bring POTLUCK to share with everyone.
Polecat Tavern opened officially on December 14th, 2023 with live music several nights a week including Open Mic Nights, Canyon Club radio show recording sessions for KNVC Community Radio, Bluegrass Jams, Songwriters Nights with the wonderful Alese Linder producing and hosting, Awesome Local and Regional Performances on our stage, & the very popular Sunday Acoustic Jam Sessions. There is also Karaoke Night twice a month with 1,000’s of songs that up to 4 performers can sing together at one time.
Polecat Tavern recently expanded into the next suite adding almost 500 square feet to thetavern and includes 2 pool tables, a comfy sitting area, and a huge board game table with a ton of board games to play such as Monopoly & Cribbage plus Chess & Checkers & a whole lot more. The tavern also recently opened up on Mondays and Tuesdays & is now open 7 days a week at 2pm. And as always, the stage is open whenever there is no event scheduled. Just drop by or call 775/515-4220 to see if the stage is unoccupied.
